West Palm Beach just secured what city leaders are calling the biggest corporate relocation in a generation — a move that will reshape downtown’s economy.
The Deal
City commissioners approved $2 million in incentives for a California-based cloud software company (widely believed to be Fortune 500 firm ServiceNow) to open a major innovation hub downtown. The new office will be located at 10 CityPlace, one of two Class A office towers being built by Related Ross, with completion expected in 2027.
Jobs & Impact
The company plans to bring 800+ jobs, potentially making it the largest private employer downtown. Positions already posted include high-paying roles like senior AI architects and software engineers.
The $2 million city grant is tied to hiring benchmarks:
- Full funding if 856 jobs are created within six years
- Minimum of 400 hires required to keep any of the incentive
On top of local support, the company also secured $15 million in state grants, bringing total incentives to about $17 million.
Why It Matters
Business leaders say the relocation cements West Palm Beach as a serious tech and finance hub. Just a decade ago, the city lacked the office space to compete for companies of this scale. Now, thanks to a boom in downtown development, West Palm Beach is landing deals that rival major metros.
