Stephen Ross isn’t slowing down in West Palm Beach. The billionaire developer is planning his fourth condo project downtown, which will be on a 2.2-acre site that once housed the longtime Russo’s sub shop near Dixie Highway. Instead of going big, the new project is expected to be more boutique, around 100 to 130 for-sale residences, a scaled-back approach compared to earlier plans for hundreds of units.
The location is key. Positioned between Fern Street, Gardenia Street, Dixie Highway, and Quadrille Boulevard, the project will offer a more walkable, in-town lifestyle, just minutes from CityPlace and downtown.
Speaking of which, this adds to a growing list. Ross and Related Ross are already behind Shorecrest, South Flagler House, and Edgeworth, all helping reshape the city’s luxury market.
The takeaway is that West Palm Beach’s boom isn’t just on the waterfront anymore. Ross’ latest move shows development is expanding inland and picking up speed.
