Stephen Starr Plans New Steakhouse on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach

Stephen Starr is planning his first Palm Beach restaurant.

The restaurateur behind STARR Restaurants is working on a new steakhouse concept, tentatively called Room Service, at the former Neiman Marcus building at 151 Worth Ave.

What’s Planned?

The restaurant would have 165 seats, including an outdoor terrace overlooking Worth Avenue.

Starr described the concept as a neighborhood restaurant with a steakhouse influence and a broader comfort-food menu. Potential dishes include lobster mac and cheese, burgers, meatloaf and Peking duck.

The Palm Beach Town Council conditionally approved the restaurant on Sept. 9, although additional approvals are still required.

The restaurant could open as early as December 2027.

Starr is also behind Pastis West Palm, which is expected to open at The Nora Hotel in West Palm Beach.
