A West Palm Beach original is getting national recognition!
Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar has earned a spot on USA TODAY’s list of the best tacos in America, putting the Palm Beach County-born restaurant brand in the national spotlight. Founded by Rocco Mangel on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach in 2007, Rocco’s Tacos has grown from a single local restaurant into a multi-state chain.
From Clematis Street to National Recognition
Known for its tacos, table-side guacamole and margaritas, Rocco’s Tacos has become a familiar name across South Florida and beyond. Nearly 20 years after opening its first location, the restaurant now operates in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Orlando, Sarasota and Tampa, with additional locations in New York and Massachusetts.
The recognition is particularly meaningful given the brand’s West Palm Beach roots. Mangel credited the restaurant’s team and longtime customers for helping turn the original Clematis Street concept into a nationally recognized business. For West Palm Beach, it’s another hometown success story that started downtown and grew well beyond Palm Beach County.
