New Restaurants Are Coming to Clematis Street in West Palm Beach

Clematis Street’s dining scene is getting several new additions, starting with the long-awaited Hacienda food hall.

Hacienda is expected to open September 16, 2026, at 522 Clematis St. The 13,000-square-foot food hall will feature rooftop seating, an outdoor patio and room for about 600 guests.

And that’s not the only new concept headed to Clematis.

Hacienda Opens September 16

The new food hall comes from SubCulture Group founder Rodney Mayo and has been in the works for some time.

At 13,000 square feet, Hacienda will add another major food and entertainment destination to the heart of downtown West Palm Beach when it opens September 16.

Taquerías Carnalito + Tragos Amargos

Two Mexican-inspired concepts are also coming to 301 Clematis St., the former home of Nico’s Pizza.

Taquerías Carnalito will bring a new taco concept to the space, while Tragos Amargos, a Louisiana-based speakeasy, will operate inside the restaurant.

Both concepts come from Danny and Vilexis Cruz, the owners behind Tacos del Cartel at 533 Clematis St.

The new spots are expected to open in late 2026 or during the first quarter of 2027.

Together, the openings add to a Clematis Street dining scene that continues to shift beyond its longtime nightlife identity, with more restaurants serving the growing number of residents, office workers and visitors in downtown West Palm Beach.
