West Palm Beach’s NORA District is about to welcome one of its biggest additions yet.
The Nora Hotel, a new 201-room luxury hotel at 1135 N. Railroad Ave., is scheduled to open October 19, 2026, bringing a collection of restaurants, bars, rooftop amenities and Florida’s first Sisley Spa to the growing neighborhood. The opening also marks the West Palm Beach debut of Pastis, Stephen Starr’s popular New York French brasserie.
A New Luxury Hotel in the NORA District
The Nora Hotel comes from Sean MacPherson and BD Hotels, the New York hospitality group associated with properties including The Bowery Hotel, Hotel Chelsea and The Mercer. It’s the group’s first major hotel project outside New York City, developed in partnership with NDT Development, Place Projects and Wheelock Street Capital.
Designed by GACHOT, the hotel draws inspiration from Palm Beach’s Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, with custom furnishings, antiques and warm wood interiors. The property features 201 guest rooms, including suites, and is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Pastis, Jack’s Bar and Rooftop Dining
The hotel is bringing several new dining and drinking destinations to West Palm Beach.
- Pastis: Stephen Starr’s French brasserie will serve classic French dishes in an all-day restaurant on the hotel’s ground floor.
- Jack’s Bar: A retro-inspired lobby bar with a mid-century atmosphere and classic cocktails.
- Lillys: A rooftop destination from Mama Hospitality, the group behind Mary Lou’s, featuring Lillys Pool, Bar Lilly and Cafe Lilly, along with dining, cocktails and entertainment.
Pastis and Jack’s Bar are scheduled to debut alongside the hotel on October 19. Separate opening dates for the Lillys rooftop concepts have not been confirmed.
Florida’s First Sisley Spa
The Nora Hotel will also introduce Florida’s first Sisley Spa. The approximately 4,000-square-foot wellness space includes four treatment rooms, a steam room, spa lounge and outdoor terrace, with massages, facials and body treatments featuring Sisley Paris products. Guests will also have access to a rooftop pool with cabanas and lounge seating.
When Does The Nora Hotel Open?
The Nora Hotel is scheduled to open Monday, October 19, 2026, at 1135 N. Railroad Ave. in West Palm Beach’s NORA District.
Reservations are available, with advertised room rates starting around $395 per night before additional taxes and fees.
The opening is another milestone for NORA, which continues to transform the area north of downtown West Palm Beach into a destination for restaurants, shopping, hospitality and entertainment.
