Big changes could be coming to one of Worth Avenue’s best-known shopping destinations.
New plans filed with the Town of Palm Beach would transform The Esplanade at 150 Worth Ave. into Burlington Arcade at Palm Beach, with private clubs, restaurants, luxury retail and wellness space.
What’s Planned for The Esplanade?
The proposal includes a Palm Beach location of Casa Tua, with a 270-seat restaurant and private club.
Plans also call for a second private club led by London businessman Robin Birley, along with a luxury retail store, spa, boutique and Birley Bakery.
The property itself would get a refresh with new storefronts, facades, awnings, walkways and terraces while preserving portions of its existing architectural character.
Why Burlington Arcade?
Reuben Brothers and Crown Onyx Investments purchased The Esplanade for $200 million earlier this year.
Reuben Brothers also owns London’s historic Burlington Arcade, which opened in 1819, and the Palm Beach proposal would borrow its name.
The company has an expanding Palm Beach presence that also includes The Vineta Hotel and the ground floor of the Tiffany & Co. building on Worth Avenue.
Are the Plans Approved?
Not yet.
The plans were filed August 13, 2026, and still require review by Palm Beach’s Architectural Commission and Town Council. Town records indicate those reviews could begin as early as October.
