West Palm Beach is leaning into a new identity: the “Capital City of the Palm Beaches.”
The message positions West Palm Beach as the region’s civic, business and cultural center, a place where people come together to work, visit and live.
And the timing makes sense. West Palm Beach has been growing quickly, attracting new businesses, residents and investment while expanding its role as a hub for the broader Palm Beaches.
There could be another layer to the “capital” title, too. With the continued influx of financial firms, high-net-worth residents and investment capital into the area, the name feels increasingly fitting, even if that isn’t the city’s official reasoning.
