Two West Palm Beach Restaurants Are Closing

West Palm Beach’s dining scene is saying goodbye to two very different restaurants.

Mystic Table Closes on Clematis Street

Mystic Table has closed at 218 Clematis Street just months after making its downtown debut in February.

The ambitious concept combined an Italian steakhouse, seafood, cocktails and nightlife, complete with a “Magic Bar,” live entertainment and tableside experiences.

The restaurant is now listed as permanently closed, although its grand-opening sign was still hanging outside and its website remained active at the time of reporting.

The closure follows another recent departure on the block, Grease, which was located across the street.

Serenity Garden Tea House Is Leaving After 28 Years

This one hits differently.

Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe is preparing to leave its longtime home at 316 Vallette Way after 28 years in business.

Owner Audrey Farrelly says she was asked to vacate the property but plans to find a new home for the beloved tea house. The cottage-style spot near the Norton Museum has become known for high tea, homemade scones, quiche, soups and its collection of donated china and teacups.

The final high tea at the current location is scheduled for August 23.

So this may be goodbye to the location, but hopefully not goodbye to Serenity Garden.
