Florida’s Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday returns July 20 through August 20, 2026, giving shoppers a full month to save on school essentials.
Here’s what’s tax-free:
- Clothing, shoes, backpacks, and bags priced at $100 or less per item.
- School supplies priced at $50 or less.
- Learning aids and puzzles priced at $30 or less.
- Personal computers and eligible accessories priced at $1,500 or less for personal or home use.
The tax break does not apply to items like jewelry, suitcases, smartphones, video game consoles, or computers purchased for business use.
