Palm Beach has a new ultra-luxury address and it comes with serious global credentials.
The Vineta Hotel is now open, marking Oetker Collection’s first US property. The European hospitality group, known for iconic hotels like Le Bristol Paris and Eden Rock–St Barths, has officially planted its flag just two blocks from Worth Avenue.
A 100-Year-Old Landmark, Reimagined
The property was formerly the Chesterfield Hotel, a longtime Palm Beach staple. Originally built nearly a century ago, the Mediterranean Revival landmark has undergone a top-to-bottom restoration led by London-based designer Tino Zervudachi.
As part of the transformation, the hotel reduced its room count from 57 to 41, creating larger, more refined accommodations designed for a spacious, private stay. The interiors lean into Palm Beach’s palette, blending island ease with European elegance.
European Hospitality, Palm Beach Setting
Set at 363 Cocoanut Row, The Vineta brings Oetker’s signature service style to one of America’s most iconic resort towns.
The hotel features:
- Coco’s, a courtyard restaurant serving refined Mediterranean flavors
- An intimate American bar with a glamorous, social-club feel
- A breezy Pool House retreat
- A lush courtyard that anchors the property’s indoor-outdoor lifestyle
The opening signals continued momentum for Palm Beach’s luxury hospitality scene, as global brands increasingly invest in the island.
With its historic façade, elevated dining concepts, and highly personalized guest experience, The Vineta adds a distinctly European layer to the Palm Beach hotel landscape.
