The Palm Beaches Surpass 10 Million Visitors for the First Time

The Palm Beaches just set a new tourism record.

In 2025, Palm Beach County welcomed more than 10.7 million visitors, marking the first time the destination has surpassed 10 million annual visitors. That’s an 8% increase over 2024’s previous record of 9.9 million.

The economic impact was just as strong:

  • $7.7 billion in visitor spending (up from $7.2 billion)
  • $11.7 billion in total economic impact (up from $10.5 billion)
  • Nearly 95,000 local jobs supported

Growth came from strong leisure travel, meetings and conventions, sports tourism, and international visitation, along with targeted marketing investments and major event programming.

Tourism dollars also directly support the community. Bed taxes help fund beach restoration, cultural institutions, sports facilities, and film production. Plus, statewide, tourism helps Florida households avoid nearly $2,000 in taxes annually thanks to visitor spending.

Palm Beach County’s tourism partners also posted big results:

  • The Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches reported 3+ million attendees and $335.3 million in economic impact.
  • The Film & Television Commission generated $260 million in local production spending.
  • The Sports Commission hosted 227 events, drawing 1.6 million attendees and producing $496 million in visitor spending.

The takeaway: Tourism continues to be a powerful engine for Palm Beach County’s economy and future growth.
