Free parking on Palm Beach is just about history. 🚫🅿️
As part of the town’s ongoing plan to ease traffic and improve parking access, Palm Beach is rolling out more metered parking in the area stretching from Royal Poinciana Way to Seminole Avenue. Almost every free parking space in that stretch — except a small section on the 100 block of Sunrise Avenue — is being swapped out for metered or updated residential parking. This area of Palm Beach joins the area south of Seaview Avenue, which got the same treatment last year.
Here’s what to know:
- Rates: $5/hour on most streets, $7/hour near the beach
- Time Limit: 3 hours max for non-residents
- How to Pay: Use the ParkMobile app
- Resident Bonus: If you’ve got a residential permit, you get 2 hours free at metered spots
The only remaining free parking? A few 30-minute spaces at Royal Poinciana Plaza.
Love it or hate it, the goal is simple: keep traffic flowing and help more people find a spot.
Stay tuned for more local updates, and maybe keep that ParkMobile app handy. 👋
