West Palm Beach’s transformation into a luxury powerhouse is picking up even more momentum, and there are two new projects leading the charge.
Developed by Related Ross, Edgeworth will bring two 28-story waterfront towers to South Flagler Drive, featuring 168 residences with expansive views of the Intracoastal and Atlantic. Homes will range from one to five bedrooms, starting around $2.5 million, alongside 90,000+ square feet of amenities focused on wellness, lifestyle, and high-end living. Completion is expected around 2029.
It’s the newest addition to Related Ross’ growing footprint in the area, alongside projects like South Flagler House, which recently surpassed $1 billion in sales and set a new benchmark for luxury condos in West Palm Beach.
The second major project adding to the momentum is Banyan Tree Residences West Palm Beach, marking the U.S. debut of the globally renowned Banyan Tree brand.
The ultra-luxury tower to be located at 400 Hibiscus Street will feature 88 residences and lean heavily into wellness-focused living, with a full spa, resort-style amenities, and access to Banyan Tree’s global network of luxury properties.
The Shift Across the Bridge
This wave of development didn’t happen overnight. It arguably began with The Bristol (completed in 2019) in West Palm Beach, which proved that ultra-luxury condo living could succeed across the bridge from Palm Beach, setting the stage for what’s now a full-scale development boom.
The Growing Pipeline of Projects
Since then, a wave of high-end residential, mixed-use, and hospitality projects have either been completed or are in the pipeline across Palm Beach and West Palm Beach:
- Alba Palm Beach
- Banyan Tree Residences
- Edgeworth
- Forté on Flagler
- Four Seasons
- La Clara
- Maison d’Or
- Mandarin Oriental
- Mr. C Residences West Palm Beach
- Olara
- One West Palm
- Shorecrest
- South Flagler House
- The Berkeley
- The District at Northwood
- The Laurel
- The Nora District Apartments & Condos
- The Ritz-Carlton Residences
- Transit Village
- Workforce housing (Related Ross, The Breakers)
Palm Beach Island is also seeing new development activity, including a proposed Venice-inspired luxury project at 3031 S. Ocean Blvd, which would transform a peninsula site into a private island-style residential community.
Why It’s Happening
With an influx of wealth, financial firms, and new residents, demand for luxury housing has surged — and developers are responding with larger, more amenity-driven projects designed to compete on a national level.
The Bottom Line
From Edgeworth’s new waterfront towers to a growing list of luxury developments across the area that include the Banyan Tree Residences, West Palm Beach is no longer just an alternative to Palm Beach — it’s becoming a destination in its own right.
