One of Palm Beach’s oceanfront hotels has changed hands in a $150 million deal.
Jeff Greene sold the Tideline Palm Beach Ocean Resort & Spa to an affiliate of Fort Partners, the owner of the neighboring Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. The sale includes the hotel property along with its branding, furniture, fixtures and other assets.
Located at 2842 S. Ocean Blvd., the five-story Tideline has 134 rooms across roughly three oceanfront acres. The $150 million deal works out to about $1.2 million per room.
Tideline Recently Underwent a $20 Million Renovation
Greene purchased the property for $41 million in 2011, when it was known as The Omphoy. The hotel originally opened as the Palm Beach Hilton in 1979.
A roughly $20 million renovation completed in 2023 updated the resort, which now includes a private beach, 6,000-square-foot spa, pool, fitness center and event space. Dining options include Amalfi Palm Beach, Mizu and After Six.
Fort Partners Now Owns Two Neighboring Palm Beach Resorts
The acquisition gives Fort Partners control of two neighboring oceanfront resorts. The company already owns the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach at 2800 S. Ocean Blvd., immediately next to the Tideline. Fort Partners acquired the Four Seasons property in 2014 and later completed a major renovation.
