Record-Breaking $285 Million Mega-Mansion Proposed Near Palm Beach

A proposed mega-mansion in Manalapan, just south of Palm Beach, has hit the market with a staggering price tag of $285 million, setting a new record as the most expensive MLS-listed property in both Manalapan and Palm Beach. This price also marks it as the priciest new residential-build project in the U.S.

The estate spans 4 acres of prime oceanfront and Intracoastal land and will offer an impressive 54,570 square feet of living space, including an eight-bedroom main house, a guesthouse, and a beach house. The planned amenities are equally luxurious, with a private bowling alley, a padel court, movie theater, gym, game room, and a “car museum.” A rare feature for the area, the property also boasts a tunnel connecting the beach and lake parcels.

Located next to a sprawling 22-acre estate owned by Oracle founder Larry Ellison, the property offers exclusivity and unmatched location. Developer Stewart Satter, a former mayor of Manalapan, purchased the land in March and demolished the existing mansion. While construction is yet to begin, the listing has already attracted interest, with the high asking price reflecting the exceptional location and custom design.
