West Palm Beach’s Konro — the first Michelin-starred restaurant in Palm Beach County — has been stripped of its star and listing after chef-owner Jacob Bickelhaupt was arrested on attempted second-degree murder and false imprisonment charges.
The acclaimed omakase spot, which opened in late 2023 and earned its Michelin Star this April, shut down June 10, 2025, just days after Bickelhaupt’s arrest. He remains in jail without bond, and the restaurant’s future is over for now.
