The Ben Hotel in West Palm Beach launched South Florida’s first outdoor ice-skating rink, opening from November 1, 2025. In addition to ice skating, this Winter Wonderland experience features festive, "Instagrammable" decorations that light up the night and small chalets offering food and drink. The rink is bigger than its inaugural season last year. Tickets are available for purchase ($25 for adults and $10 for children, plus tax), which provide access and skate rental at The Ben's tropical take on a winter experience, which is perfect for families, friends, and visitors of all ages.

What a fun new addition to downtown West Palm Beach for the holiday / winter season! The first outdoor ice-skating rink (with real ice) is situated across from The Ben Hotel's front door, just off of the intercoastal.
After finding some nearby street parking, we ventured over to the Winter Wonderland and were directed to a QR code to purchase tickets ($25 per adult and $10 per child, plus tax). Then, we were greeted with unbelievable hospitality and service from The Ben staff, as we were immediately given skates and ushered on the ice. There is a "no phone" policy on the ice, but The Ben staff happily grabbed our phone to snap some pics of us circling the ice.
After days of being packed with visitors, we somehow managed to find an off-time, as we had the ice to ourselves to a period of time. This worked out well, since we had a first-timer with us. With some tips and encouragement from The Ben staff, we were all quickly circling the ice without holding on to the wall. The Ben also had some skating aids for children in order to help them learn.
After a long skate, we grabbed some hot chocolate from one of the chalets (alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase). We enjoyed the holiday lights, music, and people watching before heading home. If you are looking for an experience to get you in the holiday spirit, hit the ice at The Ben.
Head to The Ben after sunset to enjoy ice skating under the lights. Try to find an off time (e.g., a weekday) to have more space on the ice.
