Description

The first show of Palm Beach Dramaworks' 26th season! Step into the year 1968 as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. returns to his room at the Lorraine Motel after delivering one of his most powerful speeches. There, he meets Camae — a mysterious maid who challenges him to confront his past, his fears, and his legacy. Written by Katori Hall, The Mountaintop is a gripping, imaginative reimagining of King’s final night — intimate, emotional, and deeply human. Winner of the 2010 Olivier Award for Best New Play.
