Description

The fourth show of Palm Beach Dramaworks' 26th season! Arthur Miller’s The Crucible is a gripping, timeless drama that delves into the hysteria of the 1692 Salem witch trials — and the dangers of fear-driven persecution. As paranoia spreads through the Puritan town, accusations of witchcraft spiral out of control, pitting neighbor against neighbor and faith against justice. Written as an allegory for McCarthyism, this Tony Award-winning masterpiece remains as relevant as ever, examining truth, morality, and the cost of integrity. The Crucible stands as one of Miller’s greatest works — intense, haunting, and powerfully human.
