The Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County is expanding with a new $17 million facility in Dreher Park, West Palm Beach. The Julie & Mike Connors Boys & Girls Club, as it will be named, will provide essential services, including childcare, tutoring, and summer camps, to over 220 children daily.
The 31,000-square-foot center will feature a gym, computer labs, a cafeteria, and an outdoor playground. Located near the Palm Beach Zoo and Cox Science Center, it will serve District 5, an area in need of more resources for its youth.
City leaders celebrated the groundbreaking on March 26, 2025, with the facility scheduled to open in early 2026. This new center will offer a safe, enriching space for local kids to learn and grow.
