Texas-style barbecue favorite Austin Republic is back after more than two years.
The reopened restaurant features an expanded menu with brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, tacos, Mexican corn ribs, yuca tots, and a full bar.

Birkenstock has officially opened its first West Palm Beach store at CityPlace.

Luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta has opened a nearly 3,000-square-foot boutique at Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach.
The store includes ready-to-wear collections, handbags, fine jewelry (its first Florida location to carry the collection), fragrances, luggage, and exclusive resort pieces.

Church Mouse Coffee Counter (Coming Soon)
Palm Beach’s iconic Church Mouse thrift store is adding a grab-and-go coffee counter.
The new concept will serve coffee from West Palm Beach’s Pumphouse Coffee Roasters, with proceeds supporting Bethesda-by-the-Sea’s charitable outreach programs.
No food or seating will be offered.

Rumors continue to swirl that fast-growing Mediterranean chain CAVA could be heading to West Palm Beach.

MIA Sushi (Coming Soon)
Popular local sushi concept MIA Sushi is expanding with a new location in the Flamingo Park District.
Expect sushi rolls, sashimi, poke, Japanese favorites, and fresh seafood in one of West Palm’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.
Niwa (Coming Fall 2026)
Michelin-starred APM Restaurant Group is bringing Niwa to downtown West Palm Beach.
Located next to Emelina, Niwa will blend Japanese techniques with Latin flavors featuring premium seafood from Tokyo, wagyu, hand rolls, nigiri, and an outdoor tea garden.

‘O Munaciello (Now Open)
Award-winning Italian pizzeria ‘O Munaciello has opened its first Palm Beach County location.
Originally founded in Florence, Italy, the restaurant is known for authentic Neapolitan pizza, charcoal-black dough, stuffed ricotta crusts, handmade pasta, and imported Italian ingredients.

Created by the family behind Joseph’s Classic Market, Parma Palm Beach will be an all-day sandwich shop inspired by the food culture of Parma, Italy.
Expect sourdough hoagies from Bread by Johnny, house-made focaccia, avocado and olive oils, Floridian Coffee Roasters coffee, pastries from Lingonberry Cafe, smoothies, salads, wraps, and convenient grab-and-go service.

Pumphouse Coffee Roasters is expanding with Pumphouse Donuts in the Flamingo Park District.
The concept will pair specialty coffee with fresh sourdough donuts.

Dessert concept Salt N Sugar is also coming to the Flamingo Park District.
The bakery will feature handcrafted pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, and other sweet treats.
The RealReal (Opening August 13)
Luxury resale marketplace The RealReal is relocating from Palm Beach to a larger boutique in West Palm Beach.
The new store will offer authenticated luxury handbags, watches, jewelry, designer clothing, personal consignment appointments, authentication services, and private shopping experiences.

Zara (Rumored)
One of the most requested retailers in West Palm Beach could finally be on the way.
While nothing has been confirmed, rumors continue that Zara is exploring a future West Palm Beach location.
Bonus: Dick’s House of Sport (Proposed)
While not in West Palm Beach, this could become one of Palm Beach County’s biggest retail projects.
A proposed 140,000-square-foot Dick’s House of Sport would replace the former Sears at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens.
Plans include:
- Outdoor sports field
- Golf simulators
- Batting cages
- Climbing wall
- Interactive sports experiences
- Expanded retail space
If approved, it would become one of the largest experiential sporting goods stores in South Florida.
