A longtime West Palm Beach favorite is celebrating a major milestone. The historic Carvel shop on South Dixie Highway marked the brand’s 75th anniversary with a fun, UFO-themed “crash landing” event featuring a giant Flying Saucer installation on March 19, 2026.
The location itself is a piece of local history, as it has operated since the 1950s, still using original soft-serve machines, and once used by founder Tom Carvel to test new products.
Family-owned for decades, the shop continues to be a nostalgic staple in West Palm Beach, bringing generations back for a taste of classic ice cream.
