Buccan

Buccan is a staple in Palm Beach and worth going at least once in your lifetime (or as often as possible). The menu is as promised by chef Clay Conley - unique and delicious flavors using fresh ingredients. The first time we ventured here, we opted to try a sampling of small plates, salads, and a pasta, which included the short rib empanada, spicy pork taco, hot dog panini (a popular menu item), a summer salad (as a heads up, the menu rotates at times, so be sure to try during different seasons), and the sweet corn agnolotti. If you like appetizers, the empanada and taco were quite flavorful. Although pretty popular, the hot dog panini did not pack the punch for us (but it is a novelty item worth trying for yourself at least once). The salads were very colorful and fresh - a must-try in our opinion. And, lastly, the showstopper on the night was certainly the sweet corn agnolotti. As many times as we have been here, we cannot avoid ordering that sweet corn agnolotti dish. Buccan's fresh, unique flavors, plus the elevated, but welcoming vibes, and tentative staff put this restaurant in the category of "Top of the List."
