New Private School Coming to Wellington in 2028

Palm Beach County is getting a brand-new private school — and it’s a big one. Wingrove Academy is set to open in Wellington in fall 2028, starting with Pre-K through 8th grade and eventually growing to a full PreK–12 program.

The school, run by ElevateED, will enroll up to 1,700 students and focus on STEAM, hands-on learning, and sustainability. The 45-acre campus will be part of billionaire developer Stephen Ross’ Related Ross mixed-use project at the long-discussed K Park site along State Road 7.

Designed by architect David Manfredi, the campus will feature indoor-outdoor learning spaces and emphasize collaboration and critical thinking. Applications open in January 2027.

This new academy is part of Ross’ larger plan to transform Wellington’s K Park into a mini-downtown with retail, hospitality, and community gathering spots — blending education with lifestyle.
