Dixie Highway Donuts, just north of Sushi Jo on South Dixie Highway, has had a bit of a rocky rollout. The donut shop opened on June 6, 2025 — National Donut Day, no less — only to close just two days later.
According to the owner, there were equipment issues and a parting of ways with their original baker. Not exactly the smoothest start.
But, according to their latest Instagram update, they’re back open and ready for business. The menu includes yeast-raised donuts, apple fritters, coffee, and their signature crazy milkshakes.
It’s been a strange beginning, but we’re going to give them a try and report back. Stay tuned.
