561 Music Festival to Bring Free Local Music Celebration to Downtown West Palm Beach on May 3

SunFest may be on pause, but live music isn’t skipping a beat in West Palm Beach.

The 561 Music Festival is stepping in on May 3 at the Meyer Amphitheater, bringing together 20 local bands, two stages, food trucks, art vendors, and free admission for a full day of music and community.

Now in its fourth year, the event has grown from smaller venues to the downtown waterfront, with attendance expected to reach 1,500 to 3,000 people. Organizers saw an opportunity to expand when SunFest announced its hiatus and quickly moved to fill the gap with a celebration of local talent.

Over 150 bands applied for a spot, underscoring the demand and musical depth in Palm Beach County. The festival’s focus is on providing a platform for emerging artists while creating a fun, free event for the community.
